Meet the Team
Alexandra Weston - Director of School Sport Partnership
I have worked in sports development for 7 years and I have experienced not only working, but also participating in grassroots, community, educational and elite sport and physical activity in the UK, USA and Canada.
I have a strong passion for the development and sustainability of Physical Education and School Sport and believe that the experience and teaching we provide to children mould and determine their perception of sport for the future. It is our duty to ensure that we provide the next generation with inspirational and high quality experiences and learning environments to give them the platform they require to succeed.
I continue to be a keen advocate of sport in my personal life and currently play football for Tonbridge Angels Ladies FC, I regularly attend the gym and enjoy taking long runs on a weekend. I am a keen climber in the summer months and I have done this my entire life! In the winter you can find me on the slopes of the French Alps carving my way through the snow- I love extreme sports and the exhilaration it brings!

As the Director of the partnership I am responsible for the management and direction of the partnership and the programmes we offer. I look at different avenues and initiatives to give to our schools that work with their current priorities for development.
Hannah Jones - School Games Organiser
Sport has always dominated my life and participating in physical activity gives me a real sense of enjoyment. My passion to pursue a career in sport developed whilst studying a degree in Sport Science and my first role since graduating was as Vice President of Sport at Brunel University London; here I was able to implement and deliver exciting new campaigns and opportunities for students. I then moved on to work for the London Youth Games to deliver high quality competition and work with NGBs to develop sport and increase participation.
I strongly believe that physical activity and sport plays an important role in all young people’s lives; it teaches children important values such as teamwork, respect, honesty and above all the ability to lose and learn. Sport has the power to shape a person to be the best version of themselves and I am thrilled to be able to work for a School Sport Partnership that provides a range of exciting and interesting physical activity opportunities every day for young people in Tonbridge & West Kent area.
As a keen hockey player for Folkestone Optimists HC and an enthusiastic runner I endeavour to lead a healthy and active lifestyle in my personal life.
