The Hayesbrook School

A Brook Learning Trust Academy

Sixth Form Information Evening: Thursday 22 November, 6pm - 7.30pm

The Hayesbrook School Sixth Form Information Evening is open to all prospective 2019 students and will allow you to find out how our Sixth Form works, the application process, and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you, your son or daughter may have. You will be able to talk to subject staff and current Sixth Form students, and take a tour of our facilities. To book your place at this event, please click here.

The Hayesbrook School Sixth Form Prospectus outlines the possible courses for the next academic year. Whether a course will run is dependent on student numbers. We will endeavour to keep you informed of which courses are available throughout the course of this academic year.

Our prospectus for 2019-20 will be available to download from this page following our Sixth Form Information Evening on Thursday 22 November.

Admission to the Sixth Form

We expect our Sixth Formers to have achieved at least a Grade 4 in both their English and Maths GCSEs, and at least 3 other qualifications at 4 or above (or equivalent), in addition they need a GCSE 6 or 7 grade (or equivalent) in the subjects selected for post 16 A level studies. There are also pathways that provide opportunities to study an entirely vocational route with different entry requirements.

All Year 11 students are given guidance concerning post 16 course choices and all students joining the school from elsewhere are invited to visit the school and meet a senior colleague.

If you are an external candidate and are interested in joining the Hayesbrook Sixth Form, or you would like to discuss further, please telephone the school on 01732 500600 or click here to use our online enquiry form and we will contact you directly.
