The Hayesbrook Academy is an 11-18 boys' academy with a mixed sixth form.
We are a genuinely wide ability academy and serve the communities of Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, Kings Hill and the surrounding areas. Hayesbrook is also the host school for the very successful School Sports Partnership. Our specialisms have been instrumental in the academies continued drive to raise standards across the curriculum.
The school is also part of the Leigh Academies Trust which totals 31 Primary and Secondary academies. The aim of the Trust is to ensure the highest quality of education for all its students.
Our emphasis upon learning, teaching and outstanding behaviour is reflected in every Ofsted report since 2000. The school has over 500 students on roll and is highly popular owing to its specialist status. Hayesbrook pupils are also renowned for their success in extra-curricular sporting activities at a local and national level.
Hayesbrook is a warm and vibrant community. We encourage our students to be individuals and to take responsibility for their choices as well as teaching them about tolerance and respect towards others. Our curriculum and pastoral structure empowers our students to ask questions about their place in the world. We teach them to have an appreciation and understanding of the culture, history and languages of other countries and to develop intercultural respect and understanding. This is achieved by developing the students as inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who develop the skills and resourcefulness to be open-minded, principled and reflective inhabitants of an ever changing world, global citizens who are well prepared to be successful in all their future endeavours.
