Character is important – a CV may get you the interview, but character will get you the job.

The Hayesbrook School is committed to its enrichment programme that runs every Thursday between 15:00-15:50 for years 7 to 10. This is a non-curriculum provision where students are given a safe environment to challenge themselves, feel success, and be given the opportunity to find out more about their interests and passions, as well as discover new pursuits.

Whilst attending Enrichment is compulsory, our students are able to elect their preferred activity. Each term over 20 wide ranging activities are offered to students, some examples include: cookery, football, sports leaders, world cinema club, construction, coding, science club, K’Nex, tinker club and badminton.

During this time, our year 11 students have the opportunity to undertake an additional session in English or Maths to help consolidate their understanding of GCSE work in preparation for their GCSE examinations.
