The Hayesbrook School

A Brook Learning Trust Academy

Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance

Careers guidance and support is an essential part of life at The Hayesbrook School. We encourage students to visit the websites below and in addition we are also committed to providing an annual careers fair each March, provide visits to universities, hold an apprenticeship evening in November and a UCAS support event in the summer months.

The Sixth Form benefits from a partnership with CTM Pathway and other local careers advice agencies to ensure that our students have the most up to date knowledge and information to have the currency to be able to confidently identify future pathways for themselves. Year 12 students also complete one week of work shadowing in the summer as a means to increasing their experience in the wider world of work. For vocational pathways and in particular sport we provide opportunities to gain work placements, often in local primary schools alongside our schools sports partnership responsibility.
