Year 5 pupils enjoy Hayesbrook School 'taster' day
Students from a variety of local primary schools enjoyed an exciting taster day to experience what life is really like at The Hayesbrook School.
The boys enjoyed a variety of classes and learnt a new rap in French, blew things up in Science and then played basketball in the PE department. Mr Tebbutt, the pastoral support manager, remarked “It was fantastic meeting the Year 5 boys last week. The behaviour and conduct of the boys was exceptional and they were a credit to their primary schools. We hope they enjoyed their experience with us and I hope to be welcoming them to us in September 2016".
Comments from the boys included: “I think the school is a lot bigger than my usual school and I want to come to Hayesbrook.”, “ I think the teachers make lessons fun”, “I think it is really sporty” and “I like the school because it is sporty and the teachers are nice”.
We thank the following primary schools for allowing their students to benefit from a day at Hayesbrook:
- Cage Green
- Kings Hill
- St Mark’s
- St. Matthew’s
- St. Stephen’s
