Performing Arts Students Show Hayesbrook’s Got Talent
Our Year 11 Performing Arts band played in front of a packed hall to promote instrumental lessons in the school.
We are delighted to be working in partnership with MusicStation, a local music service in Tonbridge who visit the school every day to provide guitar, drums, bass and vocal lessons. Their services have been incredible and, combined that with the fact that the music department produced 92% A*-C GCSE Performing Arts pass rate last year, is evidence for the continuing success that can be provided at Hayesbrook. Music continues to grow and talent is constantly being produced!
At The Hayesbrook School, we understand and appreciate the real value of students learning a musical instrument. Learning to play an instrument is a healthy hobby, it helps to increase confidence, self-esteem and enriches the lives of those who play. The personal and academic progress that can be made through this challenging hobby is something we certainly would encourage interest in.
Lessons are currently available to all students at the Academy in guitar, drums, vocals, keyboards/piano, bass guitar, flute, clarinet and saxophone.
If your son would like to learn how to play any of the instruments listed above, please contact MusicStation on 01732 350629 or follow this link to the MusicStation registration page.
