The Hayesbrook School Sports Day 2016: Report and Photographs

The pinnacle sporting event in the Hayesbrook calendar is our annual whole-school summer sports day.
This year’s version was not only bigger and better than ever before but it was inclusive, meaning that every pupil took part in a variety of events. Healthy team competition was to the fore as the vertical communities adorned team colours and ‘war paint’ to try and score as many points as possible! An inflatable assault course in the Sports Hall, tug of war and space hopper racing on the 3G, team building challenges on the playground and of course the traditional sprint races were enjoyed by all. Our congratulations to those pupils in Team Thompson who were victorious on the day but like any great team they were proud but very gracious with their victory.
Huge thanks to Mr Gore and all of the staff involved in organising the event and also to the pupils for showing such a strong PRIDE and Learning Together ethos. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
We hope you will enjoy viewing some of the images below to share in some of the fun and laughter.
