Year 8 Football Match Report

On the 2nd October Hayesbrook played SKA (Skinners Kent Academy) away from home. 

This is how the match played out. 

It was a tough first half with Callum McVicar coming out of his box many times to collect the ball cleanly. But it was SKA to strike first. Both teams had more chances in the first half, but couldn’t convert. In the second half Hayesbrook responded with a hard attack with Will Milne taking a shot from the edge of the box which went into the top corner. Both teams were locked at 1-1 for most of the second half, and the deadlock finally got broken, when Harrison Barnes took a shot from the edge of the box and bent it towards the far post and it went in. both teams played

In the end, the final score was 2-1 to Hayesbrook year 8 with goals from Will Milne and Harrison Barnes. Moving forwards we have 2 wins out of 2 going into the next fixture.
