Hayesbrook PTA Christmas Fair: 3 December 2016

Our PTA Christmas Fair will be taking place on 3 December, 10.30am - 2pm, and we need your help to make it even more successful than last year.

The PTA need your help to make this year's event even more successful than last year!  The more items donated, the more money we raise to help support the school with providing funding for equipment.  Our raffle has a first prize of £100 cash, so what better reason to buy a couple of 50 pence tickets?

We will be asking each team to bring in certain items for a number of stalls:

Team MacArthur Non alcoholic drinks; bottles or jars of any description
Team Pelé Any form of chocolate; from a box of chocolates to a sharing bag of buttons    
Team Thompson Non alcoholic drinks; bottles or jars of any description or chocolate as above
Team Ali Any unwanted gifts or toiletries
Team Redgrave Cakes; ideally home baked items, but shop made ones gratefully received too.

Donation Days are as follows :

Team MacArthur Tuesday 29th November
Team Pelé Wednesday 30th November
Team Thompson Tuesday 29th or Wednesday 30th November
Team Ali Thursday 1st December
Team Redgrave Friday 2nd December

This means you have a couple of weeks to have a rummage through your cupboards and drawers to find those unwanted items which we could use to our advantage.  Please remember to check the 'best before' dates when sending in food items.  As an incentive for the boys, they have the opportunity to be entered into a draw to win £20 for just bringing in an item for the Fair.  Form tutors will be marking off donations during the week before the winner is picked on Friday 2nd December.  Just think, that £1 purchase of an item or recycling of an unwanted gift could result in a £20 cash prize for your son. 

Each pupil will be sent home with 1 book of raffle tickets on Friday 18th November, that's only 5 tickets to sell.  As mentioned above, tickets are only 50 pence each but you have the chance to win the first prize of £100 CASH.  Please can you ensure that the money and ticket stubs are returned to the school via form tutors during the week starting 28 November, at the latest.   Any extra tickets can be requested from the school office.

The raffle is the biggest fundraiser at the Fair, so we wondered if there were any business men or women among you that would be able to donate a prize or two to make it even more successful than last year?  The demands upon the PTA to donate funds for school equipment is greater than ever, so we need to take this opportunity to raise as much money as possible please.  If you are able to make a donation, please contact either Ann Harwood on or Angela Childs on to discuss collection.

Attached below is a flyer showing the stalls that have so far confirmed their bookings.  If you would like to have a stall, please contact either Ann or Angela to discuss it further.
