Hayesbrook students get involved with many activities in the local community. Students work as sports leaders and trainers in local primary schools. Others act as language or maths leaders in local primary schools.
Some Hayesbrook students are studying as young apprentices and on diploma courses. Two students work in local hairdressers - and others work in construction and motor mechanics.

Work Experience
Ensuring that students have the skills necessary for working life is a priority at Hayesbrook. In their fifth year at school all students are required to undertake one week of work experience. While they are there they are encouraged to identify the personal learning and thinking skills that will help them to be successful in working life.
Independent enquirer - work out what questions to ask to solve a problem.
Creative thinker - come up with ideas and possibilities
Reflective Learner - notice when I or others do things well- learn from experiences
