Year 8 Promote 'Rugby 4 Peace' on Brighton Trip

On Wednesday a selection of Year 8 students were invited to take part in a 'Rugby 4 Peace' festival, run by the University of Brighton.

The students had the opportunity to take part in fun activity sessions, with emphasis on team work and empathy towards one another. Rugby and Football 4 Peace utilises sports to deliver generic and bespoke ‘values-based’ palliative training and coaching programmes. It uses sport as a tool to develop an awareness and understanding of trust, respect, responsibility, equity, inclusion and neutrality and its importance within society.
