The school has over 930 students on roll and is highly popular owing to its specialist status, emphasis on learning and teaching, examination success and high standards of discipline. Hayesbrook is also renowned for its success in extra-curricular activities and for its support of other schools, both locally and nationally.
Hayesbrook is affiliated to the Youth Sports Trust and the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust and is also very proud to have obtained an impressive number of quality marks. These include International Schools Award, Investor in People, ArtsMark, SportsMark Gold, the Basic Skills Award, Healthy Schools Award, Kent Heartbeat Award and the Clean Food Award. The school also holds the Kent 16+ Kitemark for its Sixth Form provision.
In 2008 the school was judged to be ‘outstanding’, for a second time, by OfSTED.
